In particular, Carl Brunsdon's breadth of experience working in secondary music education guarantees an enlightening, relevant and useful training experience. Carl has won awards for his work in music education and his students have consistently attained high grades at AS and A level.
Carl's work in the area of music education has extended to the role of associate lecturer for the PGCE Secondary Music course at MMU. As part of this role, he regularly sits on the recruitment panel for the Royal Northern College of Music. He also acts as a consultant in Music Technology and has delivered a number of professional INSET courses in this subject area. This is supported by his work as a qualified examiner for EDEXCEL. He is regularly called upon to work for Cheshire County Council and has recently acted as course leader and organiser of the successful Rock and Pop School. He has written online teaching support materials for the new Roland Education Academies and National Curriculum materials for NAME (National Association of Music Educators). He is also currently employed to write music technology blogs for the upcoming Roland Education website.

Instrument tuition caters for all levels, from beginner to advanced, and many genres and styles can be taught, including classical, jazz and rock.
Carl is also a specialist teacher in jazz and improvisation techniques and has studied this area of instrument tuition to degree and post graduate level.
